Nick Jermstad | Director, Toxicology & Environmental Risk Assessment, Intertek

Nick is an experienced toxicologist and regulatory expert who has supported a wide range of products, including cosmetics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, raw materials, food packaging, and biocides. His areas of expertise include product and ingredient safety, risk assessment, hazard identification, global food contact, and personal care regulations. He currently leads a team of 22 toxicologists and regulatory specialists at Intertek.

Eoghan Gallagher | Founder, Gallagher Beauty Compliance Strategies

Eoghan Gallagher focuses on regulatory, sustainability, and product-compliance matters across the beauty, fragrance, and related consumer-product sectors. His work emphasizes MoCRA implementation, product safety, labeling and claims, and international market-entry strategy.

Before establishing the Law Offices of Eoghan Gallagher and Gallagher Beauty Compliance Strategies, he held senior regulatory roles at Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret Beauty, and Interparfums, Inc., where he built and led global compliance programs and engaged on emerging chemical and environmental standards. His experience includes legislative and regulatory advocacy, including coordination with California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulators during the 2023 rulemaking process that established a new regulatory classification for concentrated room sprays.

Eoghan serves on the Board of Directors of the Independent Beauty Association and its Government Affairs and Public Relations Committee, and is Of Counsel with Environmental General Counsel—recognized by Chambers & Partners for its environmental law practice in California—where he advises on cosmetic, OTC drug, home fragrance, and consumer-product matters at the intersection of legal, regulatory, and sustainability issues.

Admitted to the California Bar, he is based in New York.
