The Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) was signed into law as part of the 2023 Omnibus Bill. It is the first time the FDA has updated cosmetic regulations in 84 years. It creates stricter regulations and grants the FDA more power and responsibilities for the cosmetic industry.

Within the cosmetic and personal care industries, Bridget has extensive experience in product development and international regulatory compliance . At Ithos, Bridget works with many different types of clients and helps them to tackle their toughest regulatory challenges and questions. She manages the Regulatory Team to provide compliance solutions with our clients needs in mind and also supports Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and product Software initiatives. She has a BS in Biological Sciences from The Ohio State University, and an MS in Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Findlay.
Amanda Rovito | Director of Customer Success
Amanda serves as a bridge between Ithos and the many companies, labs, retailers and raw material suppliers we serve. She is a troubleshooter, making sure customer needs are met and they are benefitting from the full suite of regulatory compliance tools provided in the Ithos Information Network software. With experience in the semiconductor manufacturing field, she has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is pursuing her MS in Computer Engineering at Villanova University.
